Andrew was talking to Ethan about our story tonight (Adam and Eve). He was explaining how sin separates us from God. He said that is why we need Jesus to save us from our sins and to come into our heart. Here is the conversation that followed.
Ethan: "Jesus isn't in my heart"
Andrew: "Well, he is in my heart"
Ethan: "Did you eat him?"
Andrew: "No" (then Andrew tried to explain things a little more)
Ethan: "He is too big to be inside me!" "I'm to small"
I think we have some more work to do.
He is starting to put the pieces together. The daily Bible stories and then reading the Bible at night are really reinforcing his thinking about the Bible and God. They are both really good times to talk to him about the principles from the Bible and teach him how we learn from the Bible.
