We had a tree top snap off one of the big oaks in the woods during one of the storms. Andrew decided to just cut the whole tree down. I thought the kids would like watching it fall. But after 20 minutes of waiting and Ethan asking "when is the tree going to fall down?" I decided it was time for a nap and they could see the tree on the ground.
They did ride the tractor and help with the clean up and dragging the tree up.
After all the work, we headed to Andrew's softball game. They lost again, but the kids had fun playing in the dirt and we went to Dairy Queen for a special treat after the game.
