A Morning with Elisea

I guess it was Elisea"s turn this morning. She was the only one up, so we spent some quality girl time. It was nice being about to give her some one on one attention for a change. She was so sweet laying in bed just smiling and talking to me. I just love holding her and loving on her. She is just the sweetest baby.

The rest of the day went on as normal. Our Bible story today was about David and Goliath, Ethan's favorite. So, there was so trouble getting him to pay attention. He is doing really good on memorizing Psalm 23. We are up to verse 3. Hopefully we can finish it by then end of the summer, it was one of my goals for him.

I did get some beans picked, while the kids played in a mud puddle. Thank goodness for mud puddles. Ethan was such a big helper pushing Elisea around in the stroller so I could finish the last row of beans. He is so good with her.

After Elizabeth woke up from her nap we made some Snickerdoodle dough, then watched Baby Einstein together. When Ethan got up we finished the cookies, he help roll them in cinnamon & sugar. They were a nice desert after dinner.

Andrew worked till 9pm tonight, so it was nice the kids were so good today. Ethan came down to say hi to Daddy. He ended up staying up for about 45 minutes, helping me snap beans. He was a great helper and he really enjoyed snapping. We had a great day.
