WATERPARK!!

Our family outings was to an indoor waterpark/hotel. It was so much fun, for everyone! We went up yesterday and got to the hotel about 12:30. We were able to play at the waterpark even though check in wasn't till 4. It was a perfect place for the kids. They had tons of slides and a huge playground with water spraying everywhere, and even a 500 gallon bucket that dumped every 3 minutes or so. The kids played hard till about 3 then we took stuff up to our room got a snack and went back to the water park. They played hard again till around 6. After dinner and a bath it was to bed...in bunk beds. Here is everyone on the top bunk.
Elizabeth only fell of the ladder 3 times.
That is pretty good for her.

The next day we had breakfast at the hotel and then packed the car. We had to check out of our room at 11am but we could play in the water park till it closed. The kids got right back in the swing of things at the waterpark.

Elizabeth went right to her favorite slide, which dropped her off in the 18 inch heated kiddie pool. I would have loved to count how many times she went up the stairs and down the slide. When she wasn't sliding she was just laying on her tummy floating in the water. She was perfectly happy to just stay there all day. Andrew and I did take Elizabeth a couple of times down the big tube tunnel slide. She was just tall enough to ride with us. She did pretty good, better then Ethan who didn't want to even try it.

Elizabeth sliding...sorry for
the blurry pictures.
Elisea also enjoyed the heated kiddie pool and loved splashing around. She took a short nap with daddy by the pool and then splashed some more. She did great!

Ethan had his favorite things at the water park too. Once Andrew got Ethan under the dumping bucket, it was his new favorite thing. There was a bell that would ding when the bucket was ready to be dumped, Ethan would stop whatever he was doing and run over there to get dumped on. The water came down so hard that every time it he would have to pull his swimsuit back up a little in the back. He also liked the slide that went into the heated pool, but also like the slide that sprayed water as you went down. Ethan also practiced his jumping and swimming in the middle of the lazy river.

to get to the bucket before it dumped.

Andrew and I enjoyed playing and relaxing with the kids. We both got to try all the slides and the tube tunnel slide as well. It was a really fun outing with the kids. Elizabeth was saying "park park" all the way home and Ethan will be talking about the bucket of water till next time we go. They both have great memories of the water park. Ethan said we better go again next Christmas too.
