Today is the first day of Andrew's 11 week "vacation" (plant down time). So, what did he spend it doing, working of course. He left early this morning and delivered sand, tilled, and composted 2 friends from church's gardens. He swung by his doctors appointment, where the doctor told him to take it easy. Then he picked up a buddies motorcycle that was being worked on and delivered it to his house. Finally headed to church to help spray the weeds. He will be coming home for a quick dinner and then running out the door for his first softball game.
Us girls have been busy here at home with the normal Monday stuff, plus some extra work. I was going all weekend at a Children Desiring God Conference in Minneapolis. The conference was awesome and we all learned so much. It was eye opening to see how "God-esteem" has been removed from everything, including Sunday school curriculum. I'm so glad that Kristi found this curriculum and is in the process of implementing it at North Park.
The kids are all recovering from yet another round of sickness. Elisea is on antibiotics for another ear infection, and is probably on her way to getting tubes put in. Elizabeth is just coming down off her steroid high for her croup. And Ethan is also medicated for another ear infection.
We are also getting stuff ready for our big garage sale in 2 weeks. This is alot of work, I hope it pays off.
