First Snow Day

The first snow fall was a highly anticipated event for the kids. Elizabeth was the first to wake up and see the "SNOW"! Ethan came down about 40 minutes later and yelled from the top of the step "SNOW". He then started taking off his pajamas and started getting himself ready to get outside. When I asked if he wanted breakfast first he said " no, I'm to excited about that snow". Elisea went down for an early nap and then they headed outside.







It wasn't all work and now play. Ethan shoveled the sidewalk off (his idea completely). He got a pretty good start on the driveway, while Elizabeth finished her snowy snack and supervised.




Then of course you have to have hot chocolate WITH marshmallows when you come inside. We also had some warm soup and homemade bread for lunch.
