Christmas (finally)

We had been at the water park for the 3 days before Christmas, so Christmas morning kind of surprised the kids. We got back home on Christmas eve around 3, did some laundry (chlorine smell on everything), and then headed to our wonderful Christmas Eve service. It was wonderful. I just sat listening and meditated on the Christmas. Elisea sat very snuggly and quietly in my lap through the whole service. Ethan and Elizabeth also did a great job. Ethan even got to hold one of the candles. Elizabeth "helped" daddy, because well she is Elizabeth!
Christmas morning was a surprise for the kids. They woke up Christmas morning to see present under the tree and said "IT'S CHRISTMAS!".
We read the true Christmas story from the Bible while eating our traditional monkey bread. Then we opened some presents. Ethan was an opener and play with it for a while, Elizabeth was open them all and play with after they were all opened, and Elisea didn't open anything and just played with the kid's toys.
"Wow cool a Transformer"

Breakfast of champions....
Jalapeno Cheetos
I wonder what it is?
After all the work opened presents we needed brunch. So I whipped up some eggs, sausage, and fruit salad. Then it was back to playing with our new toys, which was how we spent the rest of the day. Some of us (no names) spent the rest of the day in their p.j.sMarble track, which was a big hit

Lincoln Logs, also a big hit

Grandma Becky came up for dinner and round 2 of the presents. We had a nice ham dinner. After a full day, everyone was ready for bed. It was a great Christmas with the focus were it is supposed to be, on CHRIST.CRAZINESS
Viewfinders where a hit!
