Clarice treated us (Elizabeth, Mom and myself) to a girls night out at the Nutcracker. To say that Elizabeth was excited is a huge understatement. The count down was on for about 2 weeks. Finally the big day was here! After dinner and a bath, it was time to put on her new fancy dress. After a "long time to wait mommy" Clarice and Grandma picked us up and we headed to the ballet. Elizabeth was taking in the whole experience. She was wide eyed and on the edge of her seat, except for the last 20 minutes when she got a little sleepy. Her favorite part was the fight scene between the rat king and the Nutcracker.
Andrew stayed home with Ethan and Elisea. They also had a great time. In fact I came home to find Ethan watching Prince Caspin and Elisea naked (well expect for her socks) pushing the slide around the house. Have no fear, Andrew was on the job....well maybe sleeping on the job would be a better way to describe it.
