The weather was not very good for Andrew's mini vacation, but we made the best of it. Thursday morning was our window of opportunity without rain, so we headed to the apple orchard. We had a fun picking, tasting apples, and running through the orchard. Some of us (mainly the kids) did more tasting them picking. I think they should have weighed them before we left. Ethan ate 4 big apples, Elizabeth ate 2, and Elisea munched on the same one the whole time. Andrew and I sampled a few and we all decided on the Johnathan and the Golden Delicious. After a couple of hours we headed home with a bushel of apples and a maple tree to plant for Elisea.
