Summer Fun

It has been a busy summer...like a flash. We started out the suumer with a great Adventure Week.

The girls and I spent alot of time at the baseball diamond watching Ethan play Wildcats. Ethan was so excited about playing Wildcats this year and it was everything he had dreamed it would be. I was so proud to see his hustle, encouragement to his teammates, and hard work.

The kids' cats had 10 kittens in the spring. Most mornings started out with a hunt for the kittens. After they were found the kids spent time playing with there Narnia named kittens.

This summer did bring us some really hot weather and that lead to some weekends on the lake. The kids loved jumping in the water, swimming, and tubing. Ethan has become a great swimmer and is swimming around without a life jacket. He is loving the tube this year and we got him up to some high speeds and big waves. Elizabeth and Elisea are swimming great with their life jackets and are getting to be great jumpers. Elizabeth was a little more reserved on the tube at first, but she warmed up and got pretty comfortable. Elisea is a daredevil and would stand up if we let her. She was no hands, on her knees, sitting and any other crazy way she could ride.

We have one more week of vacation before we start school. The kids are ready to get back to work and I'm ready to get started as well. We are praying for another great year of school.
