The garden started out slow, but is really producing now. It has been a busy week of picking and canning! I have picked 4 1/2 buckets (5 gallon) and canned 60 quarts of beans. I also picked up 2 bushels of peaches to can, which I'm going to start tomorrow. The tomatoes are staring me down and turning more red everyday.
Finally we have the pears and apples. With as much applesauce as the kids eat we are thankful for a great apple year.
AHHHHHH!! I'm trying to kill myself. My back and shoulders are so sore. I guess I will rest this winter.
We ended the night with..... a Popsicle break!
